IROC’S SPECIAL RECREATIONAL ATHLETIC EVENTS – 2009

During the summer, IROC’s focus turns to hosting athletic events that are competitive as well as recreational for all ages and all skill levels. Events are designed to be popular locally but also to provide sufficient challenge to draw participants from throughout Vermont, the Eastern Townships of Quebec, and New England. We are linking these events with other recreational activities in the area and promoting dining, lodging, entertainment and shopping opportunities for visitors to the area. Unless otherwise noted, all pledges support IROC’s groundbreaking and highly successful Healthy Changes Initiative for people suffering from chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and heart disease to attract and retain them in long term program of regular exercise.
