Newport, Vermont
We had some kind of fun last summer with the revival of our Kingdom Aquafest Parade through Main Street in downtown Newport. The pets and the swimmers didn’t bite or scratch each other. In fact they got along just fine. The pets were dressed up pretty fancy and the swimmers brought their state flags (from 16 different states). Newport’s Band provided some swing to our steps and the ball toss in Gardner Park immediately after the parade raised a bundle for the Frontier Animal Society and its wonderful and humane mission.
This year parade organizers will be offering
CASH prizes for the best floats!!!!!
