Registration & Information
Swimmers are encouraged to register well in advance to help us plan for this event and to avoid bumping up against the cap of 75 swimmers per course and 100 youth overall. Registration
on line is preferred.
We will be running four courses for all ages: 10 mile, 6 mile, 3 mile and 1 mile. These are open to swimmers of all ages who qualify. Each will be capped at the first 75 swimmers
to register and pay. We continue to offer the 1/4 mile and 100 yard swim for youth only.
Registration for 2012 is now open. We are setting a simple registration fee with no minimum donation required. (Although half of your payment will go directly to support IROC and our Healthy Changes Initiative) Rates effective on January 1, 2012 are set as follows. They will increase on May 1, 2012.
| Adults | $150 |
| Seniors 65 and older | $100 |

Each 3 mile, 6 mile, and 10 mile swimmer is required to have a support person and boat (rowboat, canoe, or kayak), with a cell phone.
All are encouraged to bring their own support teams and boats. Local support teams and boats can be arranged on request and in advance for an additional fee. The supply may be limited,
so these requests will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Supplemental, motorized support will be out on the lake throughout the event and available to assist upon request
by individual support teams, but will not be in a position to monitor each individual long distance swimmer.
For the 1 mile swim Kingdom Swim is organizing kayaks and patrol boats to monitor swimmers from fixed positions on the shorter courses being run in the afternoon in the bay. These include the
1 mile, ¼ mile and 100 yard courses. Because of space limitations, individual kayaks will not be allowed to accompany individual swimmers but will be stationed along the course to
cover all swimmers. Volunteer Yackers are welcome.
Half of all registration and other fees paid are treated as donations to support IROC’s groundbreaking Healthy Changes Initiative
for people suffering from chronic conditions to attract them and retain them in a long term program of regular exercise. Additional donations from swimmers, their friends, family, and employers
are encouraged. Prizes will be offered for highest pledges, largest groups, biggest families, furthest traveled to the event, plus the fastest times. A special prize will be awarded to
any one who spots and photographs our very own lake monster. This event is being run in conjunction with Kingdom Aquafest, a full
weekend of fun activities on the shores of Lake Memphremagog. For more information on Kingdom Aquafest please check out its website: www.kingdomaquafest.com.
